Community Reception
This reception is open to everyone in the community.

The Center for Asian Pacific American Women (the “Center”) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the challenges facing Asian Pacific American (APA) Women and our communities. The Center endeavors to create positive change by:
- Building leadership capabilities among APA women
- Fostering awareness of APA issues
- Creating a network of APA women leaders & mentors
- Strengthening the communities in which APA women work and live
In the Los Angeles area :
In 2011, the Center provided leadership skills training to over 100 local APA women at a seminar on at California State University, Dominguez Hills. In 2013, the Center will bring their biennial conference to the Los Angeles area. (Past sites - San Francisco, Microsoft Conference Center(Seattle), DC, Houston, Los Angeles)
